GridInnovation-on-line aims at facilitating knowledge flows and exchanges among new, ongoing or completed research and innovation projects contributing to the EEGI R&D roadmap.
GRID+ was a coordination and support action supported by the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission. The overarching goal of GRID+ was to implement and support the management, planning and networking processes of the EEGI (European Electricity Grid Initiative), both within and beyond the European borders, in order to enhance the delivery by the European network operators of the new knowledge needed to deploy Smart Grid solutions in the EU28.
Grid+Storage is a service contract supporting DG Energy and the Member States in defining a European R&D roadmap integrating energy storage into grid research and innovation activities, both at electricity transmission and distribution levels.
What is the GridInnovation-on-line library?
GridInnovation-on-line offers an innovative and structured approach for delivering the new knowledge generated from innovative smart grid projects. The new knowledge is shaped in the form of articles interconnected via tags.
The GridInnovation-on-line library gathers three different types of articles:
State of the art articles describe the state of the art framework with regard to the clusters of the EEGI roadmap , and provide links to related projects.
Project articles provide the general description of the projects and the links to the related knowledge articles.
Knowledge articles are devoted to one specific R&I result of a project and describe the main features of the research output, as well as:
Clicking on the different tags within an article will lead to other articles that also contain these tags, thereby allowing a smooth navigation between the articles via successive short hops.
